CrossFit Kids action photo - Septnov2005_068

Jokers Wild

Everyone play the following game.  Pull a card.  The suit of the card determines the exercise to be done, the number determines the reps.

(Face Cards = 10, Aces = 11, and Jokers are wild, kids pick the exercise and number)

Diamonds = Squats
Hearts = Burpees
Clubs = Tuck Jumps
Spades = Push ups

Play for 5 continuous minutes then:

Take a one minute "break", during the break do superman holds.

Play another 5 continuous minutes.

Comments:
  1. I was looking at your sight and my daughter would like to know what ages go with what group. Such as puppies, buttercup ect.

    Thank You, Walter

  2. The categories Big Dawg, Pack and Puppy are general. They should never be considered (even by adults) as locked in stone. Some days a workout might address a persons strengths and they would be a Big Dawg. Other days the workout would hit weaknesses and a person might end up in the puppy category.

    As a general rule:
    CrossFit Kids Big Dawgs are early teens who have been doing CF for awhile, Pack is early teens who are starting or 8-10 year olds who have been doing CF awhile, Puppies are younger kids and the very deconditioned.
